Move one piece the way it moves in chess.Only the piece you moved fires that turn.
It fires. Rooks, bishops and queens shoot along their lines and stop at the first piece they meet.Friends block shots. Knights hit all 8 jump squares. Pawns hit the 3 squares ahead and team up in rows and diagonals. A queen picks straight or diagonal each move.
Power equals health. A piece deals damage equal to its current health, so wounded pieces hit softer.Moving onto an enemy is a clash: both take damage at once. If the defender dies you take its square; if you die, you are removed.
Destroy the enemy king to win. There is no check. The king has 20 health. You have 60 seconds per turn.
